Just as we did at all previous elections Blackburn Labour Party will be fielding candidates in every ward in the local elections to be held on May 1st 2008. Unlike our opponents, our candidates have served as party members for a specific period of time and have not just appeared at election time.

Labour councillors have not joined in any coalition with those who contested the elections against us and whose views are diametrically opposed to the policies that the people of Blackburn voted for.

To return to sensible and mature politics and dismiss the Punch and Judy show that the combined coalition of Tories, Liberals and Independents represent, a Labour vote is a must.
